FOREIGNER foreva...but too early!
Let me start by saying that I missed the first third of the show because it started earlier than expected. However, what I did see was fantastic. I seem to be in the minority of those who prefer going to bed early on school nights. It's interesting when comparing start times for different shows, like Evanescence and The Psychedelic Furs/Happy Monday's. The Furs didn't start until after 9, whereas H.O.B. started earlier. Despite this, there was a lot to enjoy. The band rocked, the front man was solid, and the backing vocals were spot on. Mick Jones and Lou Grahm have created so many great songs that are still popular today. The saxophone added a nice touch to the performance. I would definitely go see Foreigner again, especially with HOB's Wednesday 2fers deal. Hopefully, they will come back soon, and I won't assume I need a sitter next time.
